MedUni Vienna meets ISMA

The Department of Ophthalmology and Optometry of the Medical University of Vienna is proud to host MedUni Vienna meets ISMA, a special event that brings together cutting-edge medical innovation and international collaboration. With its expertise in academic event planning and a strong commitment to scientific excellence, the Medical University of Vienna takes the lead in organizing this unique gathering. This year, we are also excited to celebrate ISMA’s 15th anniversary – a milestone that adds an extra layer of significance to the occasion.

We are delighted to invite you to join the scientific programme, taking place from
24th to the 26th October 2025 at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria.

Over the past fifteen years, ISMA has grown into a strong international network of healthcare professionals dedicated to medical excellence and humanitarian engagement. To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting a multi-day event featuring presentations across various medical disciplines, showcasing scientific achievements and the collaborative spirit of our community.

We warmly invite you to contribute by presenting your work during the scientific sessions. Speakers will have the opportunity to share insights in a 5- to 15-minute talk, followed by discussion.

If you are interested in giving a talk or presenting a poster,
please submit your abstract here by October 1, 2025 at the latest.

We look forward to welcoming you to Vienna for this special occasion.

Warm regards,
Prof. Stefan Sacu
President, International Syriac Medical Association
Interim Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology
